# Plate carrier sizing after significant weight change

I lost weight over the last year and my plates now sit too low. Is it worth rebuilding the carrier, or can I adjust the cummerbund and shoulder straps enough?

Concerned about coverage more than looks. I would rather replace the carrier than compromise the fit.

Answer from experience: replace it. Strap adjustments only go so far, and a shifting plate is a liability under stress.
